Silk Road University of Innovations

Silk Road University of Innovations is a non-governmental higher education institution located in the city of Almalyk. The university was founded on April 1, 2022, by Aziz Ro‘zimovich Kutlimuratov and Dilorom Isroilovna Kutlimuratova. In a short period, it has gained recognition among students and academic staff, achieving significant results in providing high-quality education and training modern specialists.

It is noteworthy that Silk Road University of Innovations was awarded the title “Best Non-State Higher Education Institution – 2023.” From December 20 to January 20, in the competition held on the @talimuz platform, it became the absolute winner among 103 candidates with 16,571 votes, and was awarded the special statuette of the competition.

The primary mission of the university is to integrate modern knowledge and innovative technologies into society and to train highly qualified specialists. This educational institution stands out for its educational programs that meet international standards and its use of advanced teaching methods.

  • Grants: Up to 10% of daytime students are awarded annual merit-based grants;

  • The university employs around 60 professors and teachers.


Fields of Study Offered at the University

Economics:
This field relates to business, management, and law, encompassing financial, analytical, and administrative activities within companies of various ownership types, as well as banks, insurance organizations, government bodies, research institutions, and educational establishments. It covers complex issues related to economic development, analysis, forecasting, and managerial competencies.

Psychology:
This field covers social and behavioral sciences. Specialists may work in preschool, secondary, vocational, and higher education institutions; state and private organizations; mass media; psychological service centers; rehabilitation centers; sports organizations; and military units under the Ministry of Defense. It includes psychological diagnostics, counseling, and socio-psychological support.

Pedagogy:
This direction prepares teachers for the subject “Upbringing (Tarbiya)” in general secondary education, as well as pedagogical specialists for vocational and professional training institutions. Graduates may also work in educational management, youth leadership positions, orphanages, and as methodologists or tutors.

Primary Education:
Graduates may work as primary school teachers, junior researchers, specialists in cultural and educational centers, or managerial staff in state and non-state organizations. They may also serve as tutors or department managers in various educational institutions.


The university provides modern training facilities, electronic libraries, a student dormitory, free Wi-Fi, interactive boards in all classrooms, as well as opportunities for practical training. Various innovative centers have also been established.

The university actively develops international relations and implements exchange programs with prestigious foreign universities.

For example, in September 2024, students of the “Primary Education” program completed practical training at Almalyk city schools No. 17, 18, and 19 under a cooperation agreement.

During the internship, students remarked:

“We applied our theoretical knowledge in practice. Every stage was well-organized and purposeful. We participated in both group and individual assignments. This process gave us valuable experience, which we believe will greatly benefit our future careers.”

In October, a conference was held with representatives of key organizations in Turkey, such as Rahul Muhammad and Saodat Davlatova, regarding international cooperation. Rector Nigora Tursunboyevna Sobirova shared insights on higher education reforms in Uzbekistan. Important dates were set to sign memorandums with five prestigious Turkish universities ranked in the TOP-1000 worldwide.

In December, Silk Road University of Innovations and the Central Asian University of Innovations (Kazakhstan) signed a cooperation memorandum and an agreement on academic mobility for professors and teachers.

On December 23, a cooperation memorandum was signed between Silk Road University of Innovations and Military Unit No. 99166 to strengthen patriotic education and jointly organize spiritual-educational activities.

“The goal of fostering military-patriotic spirit among youth is to instill loyalty to the Motherland, commitment to peace, moral and spiritual values, and to form a reserve of honest, devoted, and competent specialists for all sectors of the country.”

We also announce that a new academic building covering 10,000 m² will soon be commissioned.

Silk Road University of Innovations continues to make significant contributions to the socio-economic development of Almalyk city. It expands educational opportunities for youth and helps them become future leaders in their respective fields.
