Enlightenment is the most powerful weapon against ignorance

In accordance with the approved plan jointly developed with the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, spiritual and educational meetings are being organized in higher education institutions during February–March 2026 among students on the topics “Combating Ignorance through Enlightenment” and “The Priority of Human Dignity and Rights as the Foundation of Development.”

On this occasion, the Deputy Hokim of Almalyk city for religious affairs, Pardayev Jamshid Jurakhonovich, visited our university and held an open dialogue with students on these topics.

During the event, issues such as protecting young people from various alien ideas and harmful movements, forming a healthy worldview, and fostering respect for national and universal values were discussed in detail. The role of knowledge, critical thinking, and awareness in building an enlightened society was also emphasized.

This meeting played an important role in enhancing students’ legal and religious literacy, as well as fostering vigilance and awareness among them.
