Khujand State University named after Academician B. Gafurov is a major national higher education institution located in the city of Khujand, Republic of Tajikistan. Founded in 1932, the university provides education in a wide range of academic disciplines. Academic programs are offered at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, combining both theoretical and practical approaches.

The university has established strategic partnerships with more than 40 international educational institutions and research centers and has cooperated with international organizations such as Erasmus+, UNESCO, USAID, and DAAD.

An agreement has been reached between Khujand State University named after Academician B. Gafurov and Silk Road Innovation University to develop mutual cooperation in the fields of education, science, and innovation.

Within the framework of this cooperation, the following initiatives are planned:

• exchange of faculty members and students;

• implementation of joint scientific research projects;

• organization of international conferences, seminars, and master classes;

• development of joint initiatives in innovative and digital education.

This partnership aims to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries, create new opportunities for young people, and contribute to the scientific and innovative development of the region.
